Christmas Tablescapes with Homesense

Luxe for less Christmas Table Ideas
Since the dawn of Pinterest we can spend endless hours looking at the most glorious tablescapes, in all honesty I was not aware that the word tablescape existed before Pinterest arrived in my life. The truth is if we created everything pretty we see online we would be broke and Christmas is already an expensive time luckily I have some suggestions on how to dress your table for less, and a few products from Homesense.

Buying a whole load of new glasses may be an unrealistic goal financially but getting a few nice ones and dotting them around the 'party room' on a tray will add some glam. My table seats 10 but I do not have 10 of any type of glass, I am not a restaurant after all.

Placing small ornaments on the table coupled with free items such as pine cones will make for a stunning Christmas table. Keep to a simple colour pallet, you can't really go wrong with gold and white!

You could create a simple centrepiece by using a wreath with a few pillar candles in the middle. Invest in some more coasters as people will need to put their drinks down so they can dance to your awesome Christmas playlist, (I hope you are making an awesome playlist - find one on my book link in the sidebar if you haven't). The use of a fancy coaster will also add some glamour to your table too. Serving platters & charger plates are an inexpensive way to have a luxe feel on a tight budget.

All of the products below are available from Homesense.

HomeSense, has partnered with leading youth charity The Prince’s Trust has to raise funds for disadvantaged young people this Christmas. What better way to keep the Christmas spirit than to give to charity.

This year, for the first time, you will have the option to pick from two baubles, with an exciting bespoke addition to the charity range. The limited edition bauble is on sale now and is made from hand blown Polish glass and comes in a selection of jewel tone colours, costing £3.99, with £1.70 being donated to The Prince’s Trust. The bauble will be sold exclusively as part of the much loved HomeSense Charity Christmas campaign, Hang a Bauble.Alternatively, you could buy a decorative paper bauble for £1 on which they can write a festive message to loved ones before hanging it on a special HomeSense Christmas tree in their local store. Funds raised throughout the campaign will go to The Prince’s Trusts Achieve programme, which helps young people who are at risk of underachieving at school or college to engage with and succeed in their education.

To get your creative juices flowing and hopefully encourage you to buy some charity baubles this year I have collected some images of how you could put them to use around your home this Christmas.
