Almost the whole world has gone digital, and yes so have I but I still have all of my old film camera ans a few new ones because the excitement of processing film and wondering what you have will never go away. Lomography hit the world by storm as it added that extra element of surprise by using a plastic lens and a less than reliable focusing system. They have a huge range of different camera each giving different results but I want to talk to you today about the Diana camera. There is no disputing that it is a great looking camera but the plastic construct also makes it incredibly light so a dream to walk around with all day and an easy edition to what is no doubt a heavy camera bag. The plastic lens gives you a wonderful dreamy quality to the photos.
The square format is very cool, because square stuff is cool, was it not our wonder Huey Lewis who told it was in fact hip to be square. You have to manually wind the film on so you can expose the same bit of film more than once to create ghosts like the image below.
