Salted Caramel Hot Chocolate

If you are one of my British reader you have most probably been affected by the storms. I myself came back with baby Sebastian just in time for the wind and the rain, I am feeling at home now. In fact after a very turbulent flight, that the baby slept through, we had to sit on the plane for a further 2 hours as it shook and rocked in the inclement weather as it was too windy to bring the steps to the plane for us to disembark. All very eventful, especially for his first flight!
 
My heart goes out to those who have lost their homes and hope that their lives can get back on track soon. For those of you lucky enough to have your homes dry and intact please stay indoors and only make necessary journeys. In fact stay in, hug the on you love, well it is valentines day, and sip down a salted caramel hot chocolate.
 
To make this you will need to add 2 generous teaspoons of salted caramel from this recipe in a previous post to each cup of steaming hot chocolate. I went all out and made my hot chocolate with milk, grated dark chocolate and a good quality chocolate powder. Oh and as you can see I did add some cream also. Breastfeeding uses 500 calories a day so I feel this is just fine.
