Last days of summer

I am excited about the start of Autumn and have even started my Christmas shopping, but I am no fool if I am still getting hot days, hot enough to enjoy milkshakes, then milkshakes I will create. Besides I am sure the baby needs calcium, that is a justification right?

I remember when Speculoos were just those funny little biscuits you would sometimes get on the side of you coffee cup in a café. Now that brand name is everywhere, they make a spread, a drink and I even bought their ice cream flavour. Which brings me to my next point Speculoos milkshake!

you will need;

2 scoops speculoos ice cream
1 cup milk
1tsp nutmeg (plus a little extra for sprinkles)
whipped cream to serve

method;
  1. Blend the ice cream, milk and nutmeg together.
  2. Pour into glasses, top with whipped cream and sprinkle with a little extra nutmeg.
  3. Serve & enjoy!
If you are having trouble finding the ice cream try combining the spread with some vanilla ice cream.
