Roasted chickpeas - recipe

 
Over the past few days lots of us have stuffed ourselves silly. This is a really quick, low fat snack to make. It would also make a great nibble to serve on New Years Eve if you have any friends coming over for drinks.

you will need;

400g can of chickpeas
1 dessert spoon olive oil
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp garam masala
1/2 tsp dried coriander

method;
  1. Drain and dry the chickpeas.
  2. Heat the oven to 200C.
  3. Coat the chickpeas with all of the ingredients and place on a baking tray in a single layer.
  4. Roast in the oven until fully crunchy. This should take between 25 - 30 mins depending on your oven. Serve warm or cold.
