Handmade ribbon bookmarks - diy

Prepare yourselves because I am going to do it I am going to use the C word! Are you ready? Christmas is nearly here! Yes it is it is nearly out there and as a crafter it comes early because I want to fill each Christmas with unique handmade items I have to get started early. So to break you in here is a quick and simple diy to get you started. They make great stocking fillers, or gifts in handmade crackers or advent calenders. In fact in my house we have a luck dip box filled with silly gifts for people to claim when they win a game over the Christmas period. I think the point that I am making is that these are a really cute idea and can be used for anything at anytime of the year!

1. First select your ribbon, a paperclip and small button (from your stash) per bookmark. 2. Cut two small strips of ribbon and fold the first one into the loops and the second over in half to make the tail of the bow. 3. Place the small button in the centre and secure through all the folds. 4. Once the bow is secured secure the bow to the top of a paperclip....And you are done!
